NOTES OF HONEY AND BERRIES
SINGLE ORIGIN ETHIOPIA-SIDAMO
This whole bean blew me away the first time I tried it. I antcipated it being good, but this is some of the best coffee I've ever had. Props to you Madrinas for continuing to pump out quality products.
Soooo premium with the perfect amount of floral notes. My favorite part of starting the day!
Anytime I try a new coffee roast company, I like to start with an Ethiopian (if available) - I like bright coffees with fruit notes and HotK hits the mark with its fruity/honey/cooked berry notes. Most Madrinas coffee beans are medium to dark roast. I hope in the future to see light roast come to the store. Also, I would love to see the processing method added to the label (i.e., washed, semi-washed, honey, natural, etc.) - that is the coffee purist in me haha. Natural is my favorite process, so I hope to see that added in the future. Overall, good quality bean - will definately have HotK again, but first I'm on a quest to try their different offerings.
